Jazz Music Vocalist Rondi Charleston Celebrates New Jazz CD Release

Filed under: Digital Music — admin at 1:10 pm on Saturday, July 30, 2011

Jazz music vocalist and songwriter Rondi Charleston (http://www.RondiCharleston.com) celebrated the release of her new jazz CD, Who Knows Where The Time Goes, on Motema Music, and a follow-up to her critically acclaimed jazz CD release In My Life From 2008.

Rondi Charleston, who has garnered the accolades of a group of noteworthy jazz music critics, is a natural storyteller. This jazz vocalist and noted Emmy and Peabody-winning investigative journalist, worked alongside Diane Sawyer at TV's PrimeTime Live. It was there that Charleston had ample opportunity to fine-tune her storytelling skills to prepare for her burgeoning contributions in jazz music and debut on the New York jazz scene. Her new jazz CD release, Who Knows Where the Time Goes is the product of blending her diverse careers in music, notably jazz music, and media. It is this collection of songs that form the centerpiece of her upcoming New York jazz show at Joe's Pub. Her repertoire of songs she has composed embody honest words, skillful writing, and intelligent music – and her style assimilates the best of the Great American Songbook and the simplicity of a Top 40 pop tune.

Noted New York jazz journalist, Will Friedwald called Charleston "an outstanding contemporary jazz singer and an even better songwriter … she has created one of the better jazz vocal albums you are likely to hear right now." Downbeat Magazine wrote: "Rondi Charleston is one of those rare artists for whom a song's meaning is as important as it's melody…Her personal, thought-provoking, original songs slow the heartbeat and raise the mental senses with a documentarian's acuity."

While the New York jazz arena is home base, jazz vocalist Charleston is a Chicago native. Her luminous sound, her lithe and flexible rhythmic sense, and her rich timbral quality are immediately recognizable, and characterize her performance on the new jazz CD. Her artistic consistency is apparent whether confessing the longings of "Please Send Me Someone to Love" or demonstrating her power on originals, "Dance of Time," the remarkable tale of "Land of Galilee", or reflections on the heart-wrenching ancestral journey in "Your Spirit Lingers."

Jana Herzen, owner of the New York jazz music record label Motema Music (http://www.motema.com) said of Rondi's signing, "I treasure her passion, vision and talent for perceiving and telling compelling, universal stories.  The arts for me are all about the journey, and Rondi has much to share on that front."

I’m Happy! Ask Me Why

Filed under: Digital Music — admin at 8:45 pm on Thursday, July 21, 2011

Be happy
Hi there!

I'm Ken Kulmane and want to give you a present today – NO obligation at all.

Just a present from me to you. I do hope you will like what I want to give you:

Veretekk The Book

I want nothing in return.

Or to be sincere with you, the only thing I want from you is to tell you a story… about …Willie Sutton.

Willie Sutton was the Energizer Rabbit of bank robbing, having robbed 100 banks and stolen $2 million dollars.

When asked why he robbed banks, he's reputed to have said,

"Because that's where the money is."

But in his autobiography, Sutton denied having uttered the quote, saying…

"The credit belongs to some enterprising reporter who apparently felt a need to fill out his copy… If anybody had asked me, I'd have probably said it. That's what almost anybody would say…it couldn't be more obvious.

"Or could it?

"Why did I rob banks? Because I enjoyed it. I loved it. I was more alive when I was inside a bank, robbing it, than at any other time in my life. I enjoyed everything about it so much that one or two weeks later I'd be out looking for the next job. But to me the money was the chips, that's all."

"Go where the money is…and go there often."

Thanks to Willie, we have the "Willie Sutton Rule," as taught in business colleges the world over.

The rule is simple: focus on obvious, high-yield activities instead of wasting your time on less fruitful ones. For example, instead of re-organizing your desk for the 12th time, write a few articles and generate some traffic to your website. Or instead spending your next six months building a new product that may or may not sell, get an expert to create a half dozen new, high quality products for you.

A financial variation is to focus on obvious, high-yield investments instead of blowing your money on something with no return.

For example, instead of buying that expensive coffee, pay for a months hosting to a money generating website.

Or instead of blowing your cash on another quickly forgotten restaurant dinner, invest in an entire product package you can resell for profits.

Are you getting the picture?

"Go where the money is – and go there often."

OK… that was the story about Willie…

Why does that story have to do with me or even with you?

I'll tell you.

John Delavera has created a brand new one-of-a-kind membership that closely follows Willie Sutton's rule – providing everything you need in one place to make money this month, next month and so forth.

You get unique, exclusive, high quality products and services that John personally inspects to ensure it meets the highest standards. And you get almost everything with private label and resale rights; plus you get a host of tools and helpful advice from a close knit community of like-minded marketers.

I followed Willie Sutton's rule and today I am HAPPY indeed.

"Go where the money is – and go there often."

That's why I want to share my happiness with you and offer you my present.

As said, there are no strings attached – there isn't even a signup form, or a squeeze page here. The present is yours 100% and you can download it by clicking on the button below.

Download

Simple – right?

As for the license related to my present: you can do anything you want with it. Use it, sell it with or without any rights, give it away to your people – do what ever pleases you.

If you have some time, you can also check our Happy "Home" by clicking here.

You'll see that everything I told you is true.

Oh… by the way… I really don't know how much longer John will be offering this – and frankly I've purposely NOT told you just what this is, because I want you to discover it for yourself.

Check it :)

Personally I decided to stop spinning my wheels and work myself silly to make a profit.

Willie Sutton was right – of course.:)

We can simply go where the money is – and go there each and every month

Be Happy!

To Your Success,

Ken Kulmane

PS. Don't get me wrong: Success is depended 100% by what we personally do. There is no magic trick that sends overnight profits. Or you'd say that magic comes in your life when you make the right decisions, have a vision and work hard towards it. And of course, always go where the money is. :)

PPS. If you have any questions after you visit John's site feel free to stop by my website by clicking here and send your message to me. I'd love to help you indeed and answer any questions you may have!

PPPS. Lastly and in case you're wondering how can I host my page on John's server and offer MY present to you…. well… that's the magic I told you about. :)   I'll  explain everything to you if you want – just contact me as instructed. :)
